One Minute 2005

A collaboration with musician and composer Craig Armstrong.

This work consisted of a series of 15 one-minute studies of cloud formations filmed over specific geographic locations in Scotland, these were presented alongside the premier of musician and composer Craig Armstrong’s symphonic work. This collaborative work was commissioned for the opening of the new concert hall at Horsecross, Perth, Scotland. The filmed sequences were made at the following locations: Knoydart, Sionascaig, Sound of Jura, Buachaille Etive Mòr, Raasay, Govan, Kirkwall, Crimond, Quiraing, Rackwick Bay, Edinburgh, Cape Wrath, Glasgow, Rannoch Moor and Perth.

Duration 15 minutes, with music composed by Craig Armstrong, performed by the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and conducted by Gary Walker.
