Turas Is Tumadh 2016
A collaboration with musician and composer Aidan O’Rourke.
Our studio and Aidan O’Rourke’s trio came together on New Years Day as part of Unique Event’s, post Hogmanay, Scot:Lands sessions. We worked collaboratively on a one-off, eight-hour performance at the Old St Pauls Church in Edinburgh. Two films, Turas and Tumadh, were presented on a large circular screen suspended in the church. Aidan composed music for his trio to play live for an audience who moved between six venues available to visit on New Years Day.
Duration / 10 minutes + 15 minutes respectively, both with music composed by Aidan O’ Rourke with his trio (Aidan on fiddle, Graeme Stephen on guitar and John Blease on drums).
