Water Falls Down 2001

Constructed in three parts this short film begins with the view of a birch sapling in a heavy fall of snow, the middle section observes a large boulder over which a torrent of river water is constantly flowing. The last section concludes with a scene of people being baptised in the north sea filmed near the village of St. Combs in the north east coast of Scotland.

First shown at The Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh, Manchester Museum and Art Gallery and MK Gallery, Milton Keynes England.

Purchased by the National Galleries of Scotland in 2007.
