Meltwater 2001

Three part photographic and film installation, comprising of Path, Valley and Ice Stream. Path is a circular image of the path to Nigardsbreen Glacier, printed onto a 10 meter tall canvas curtain, this curtain hangs through three floors in the foyer area of the  theatre. Valley is made up of four lozenge-shaped images of trees that have colonised a series of precarious stone ledges. Ice Stream was shown on four public information screens and featured  footage of brilliant green, silt-heavy meltwater, flowing from the glacier.
