Each year we print a very small run of calendars on a different theme that reflects our island setting. This year we have turned our attention to the spectacular erratic boulders of Uig, glacially deposited ‘foreign’ rocks that often differ from their neighbours, having been carried by the ice from distant sources, to rest in precarious positions. Set down by retreating glaciers on scraped clean gabbro backs, these characterful ollag’s can be seen balanced on much smaller stones whose future will be forever determined to bear their weight.

30cm x 30cm, they are printed on a lovely heavy (250 gsm) card, and spiral bound in the middle, the top half of the calendar hosts 12 seasonal images that fully bleed to the edge, of boulders we’ve come to love and know well. The bottom half affords a generous amount of space to jot down daily events.
